Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Half-day drive from Nairobi to Masai Mara Reserve
Your journey comes with breathtaking views of the countryside rift valley.
Arrive at the reserve early to check in at the lodge for relaxation, get lunch and later, go for late afternoon game drive. With your camera set and eyes ready, your afternoon game drive will reward you with sightings of different wildlife including cape buffaloes, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, and birds.
Day 2: Two combined game drives in Maasai Mara
A tasty breakfast will be enjoyed while at the lodge and after, you will set off for both morning and afternoon game drives. You will have your packed lunch and water being a full day excursion of exploring Maasai Mara Reserve.
Today’s sightings will range from the big 5 game, witness the world’s spectacle – the Great Migration consisting of millions of wildebeests, and other grazers.
Day 3: Game drive in the morning & Maasai village tour
Leave your accommodation for your morning game drive. Have your eyes set to capture early morning risers plus all your favorite animals you missed to see the previous day. You will get back to the lodge for lunch break. Continue to the Maasai community for a cultural experience, learn distinct traditions and cultures of the Maasai people.
Day 4: Transfer to Zanzibar by air
After breakfast, your day will involve connecting from Masai Mara to Zanzibar Island, honeymooners or beach lovers’ paradise. Upon arrival, you will be picked up at Abeid Amani airport. Here you will be driven to your boutique hotel for relaxation.
Day 5: Beach relaxation
Wake up at leisure. You will have the better part of your day chilling at the finest beaches along the Indian Ocean. Feel free to engage in any of the water sports, take photos and have great moments with your dear ones.
Day 6: Safari blue – swimming with dolphins
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and after, head towards the South to have the best of your dolphin excursion. The best spot to engage in your dolphin excursion tour is the Kizimkazi fishing village. Here you will be watching dolphins, especially the bottle-nosed dolphins and Humpback dolphins. You will return to Stone town for relaxation, dinner and night stay at the hotel.
Day 7: Explore Stone Town & departure
Continue with a half-day walking excursion through Stone town. Explore the different historical and cultural sites. Then you will be transferred to the airport for departure to the next destination or back home.
