Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Visit the Mara National Reserve in Narok County
After breakfast, meet your safari guide for a briefing before starting your road trip to Masai Mara National Reserve.
The drive from Nairobi takes about six hours through the scenic Great Rift Valley. On arrival, check in at your lodge or camp and enjoy lunch.
In the evening, go for a game drive across the Mara plains. Look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, rhinos, and antelopes. Afterward, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full Day at Mara
Start your day with a warm cup of tea or coffee before heading out for a full-day game drive.
Explore the vast Mara plains where you may see leopards, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, and many antelopes. During the migration season, you may also witness the famous Great Migration as thousands of wildebeests and zebras cross the plains.
Return to your lodge in the evening for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 3: Cross to Serengeti by Road
After breakfast, meet your guide and depart from Masai Mara. Drive to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania through the Isebania Border.
Arrive in Serengeti and check in at your lodge or camp. Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for the next day’s adventure. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 4: Serengeti Full-Day Wildlife Tour
After an early breakfast, begin your full-day wildlife tour in Serengeti National Park.
With the help of your experienced guide, explore the park in both morning and afternoon game drives. Look out for lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffaloes. Depending on the season, you might also witness the Great Wildebeest Migration as herds move across the plains.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your exploration. Return to your camp or lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: To Arusha
After breakfast, check out of your lodge and begin your drive to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport for your departure, marking the end of your Mara & Serengeti Safari.
