Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and night stay in Nairobi city

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, meet your Kenya safari guide for pick up and transfer to your respective hotel within Nairobi city. If you happen to land at the airport early, you may consider visiting some tourist sites around the city including Elephant Orphanage, Karen Blixen Museum and in case time allows, explore the Nairobi Giraffe Centre.

Day 2: Depart Nairobi for Amboseli NP

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at the comfort of your lodge and after, you will be expected to set off from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park. The park is set suitably offering irresistible views of the snow-capped Kilimanjaro Volcano, supports abundant mammal species and birds. A leisurely lunch will be had while in the lodge and after, have an afternoon wildlife viewing accompanied by memorable photography tour.
During the afternoon game viewing excursion, expect to encounter large herds of elephants, gazelles, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, and numerous birdlife.

Day 3: Morning & Afternoon game viewing tours

Today, you will spend the full day exploring Amboseli National Park huge concentrations of wildlife. Also, consider carrying some picnic lunch meal to enjoy while in the wild. Diversity of animals to search for include the Rothschild giraffes, African bush elephants, zebras, buffaloes, lesser Kudus, lions, mongoose, hyrax and many bird species. You will get back to the lodge after a complete day game drive in the morning and afternoon.

Day 4: Visit Lake Nakuru National Park

The park lies along the Great Rift Valley which makes up part of the intra-continental ridge system which stretches through Kenya from the North down to the South. After the leisurely lunch, you will embark on a guided game drive with an experienced guide.

In Lake Nakuru National Park, expect to see the Rothschild giraffes, black and white rhinos, elusive leopards, birds – especially the pink flamingos and more.

Day 5: Trip to Masai Mara N/Reserve

Leave Lake Nakuru National Park for Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most popular wildlife reserve and wildebeest migration destination. This nature reserve is one of the richest wildlife safari destinations and once you have reached, check in at the camp for relaxation, lunch and also have some refreshments.
In the afternoon, you will exit the safari lodge or camp for big five game safari and also look out for other wildlife including the migrating wildebeest, zebras, Thompson and grand gazelles, waterbucks, impalas, and Topis.

Day 6: Whole day wildlife tour in Masai Mara

After breakfast, you will have a combined morning and afternoon wildlife viewing with an experienced guide from Kenya. You will spend a whole day in the savanna plains of Masai Mara National Reserve.

Expect a full-day wildlife encounter with not only the big 5 game. But also observe millions of migrating wildebeest, 1000s of zebras, elands, cheetahs, birds and more. You will get back to your accommodation for relaxation later in the evening while keeping eyes on most wildlife.

Day 7: Depart to Nairobi

At leisure, enjoy your hot cup of tea or coffee and check out of the camp. You will be returning to Nairobi but first, a short morning game drive will be enjoyed in the Maasai Mara Reserve. Get to Nairobi city early to be dropped off to your hotel or at Jomo Kenyatta Airport for departure.
